Cuevas Tabbed SCIAC Athlete of the Week

LA VERNE, CA — Jacob Cuevas has been tabbed the SCIAC Football Special Teams Athlete of the Week, the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced.

The junior delivered a perfect performance in La Verne's 30-3 victory over Azusa Pacific on Saturday. The kicker converted all three of his field-goal attempts, connecting from 23 twice and a 27-yarder. He also went 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts. Cuevas was also busy on kickoffs, recording 369 kickoff yards to help the Leopards consistently flip the field throughout the afternoon.
