NEW ORLEANS — Dawson Bell, Zachary Reid, and Tyler Thomas were named All-West Region the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA ) announced.
The top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Bell earned her honors for her performance in the 200m dash. She ran the fourth fastest time in the West with a 24.98 that she posted at the APU Franson Last Chance meet.
Reid posted the fourth-best time in the region in the 110m hurdles. He ran his new school record and SCIAC meet record time of 14.31 at the SCIAC Track and Field Championships.
Thomas picks up All-Region accolades for his record-setting time in the 200m dash. Thomas posted the fastest time in the West and the 17th-best mark in NCAA DIII history when he finished at 20.94 at the SCIAC Championships.
Reid and Thomas continue their season tomorrow at the 2024 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted at Dough Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
