LA VERNE, CA — The University of La Verne men's and women's track and field programs were recognized for their success in the classroom, with four student-athletes earning All-Academic honors and both teams receiving All-Academic Team recognition.
Hunter Bond, Nicolas Saenz, Zyeir Lasley-Shabete, and Isaac Stockton were named to the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team.
In addition to the individual honors, both La Verne teams were recognized as All-Academic Teams. The men's track and field team posted a 3.17 cumulative team GPA, while the women's team recorded an impressive 3.47 cumulative team GPA.
The academic honors highlight the continued commitment of La Verne's track and field student-athletes to excellence both on the track and in the classroom.
