NEW ORLEANS – Senior Hunter Bond was named All-Region for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced.

The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West.

Bond earned the distinction for his performance in the decathlon when he posted a lifetime best 6203 points a the 2026 SCIAC Track and Field Championships, the third best mark in program. 

Bond also took care of business in the classroom during his time at La Verne and was name the Leopards 2026 Scholar Athlete of the Year.
